Invader Zim: The Complete Invasion

***DISCLAIMER*** The following review is entirely my opinion. If you comment (which I encourage you to do) be respectful. If you don't agree with my opinion, that's fine. To each their own. I am just sharing my opinions and perspective. Finally, the reviews are given on a scale of 1-5. 1, of course, being terrible. 2, being not great. 3, being okay. 4, being good and 5, being epic!

Invader Zim: The Complete Invasion - 5 out of 5

Nickelodeon, isn't always reliable when it comes to their cartoons. Most are cheap and made just for kids but occasionally, gems fall through. Like SpongeBob SquarePants, Ren and Stimpy, Fairly Odd Parents, and, what I am reviewing, Invader Zim. This cartoon is about as close as you can come to perfection in animation form. The writing is witty and hilarious, the animation is awesome especially since they successfully integrate 2D and 3D, a feat that most animated programs fail at, the voice acting is top notch and the characters are fun. When this show was on the air, I never got to see its entire run, only the first season but I loved it then and being able to see episodes from the 2nd season and have them be new, it was like Christmas. What makes this show even better is the superior quality sound that you don't see very often in cartoons. The sound effects are layered so perfectly with the visuals and the music is right out of a big budget film that fits the action perfectly. It's sad that this show was canceled before it got to finish up its story, because we were going to get a TV movie of it but with what we got from the show was perfection all the way through. At no point does the show's quality dip. And let's face it...GIR is the best!
