Best Worst Movie

***DISCLAIMER*** The following review is entirely my opinion. If you comment (which I encourage you to do) be respectful. If you don't agree with my opinion, that's fine. To each their own. I am just sharing my opinions and perspective. Finally, the reviews are given on a scale of 1-5. 1, of course, being terrible. 2, being not great. 3, being okay. 4, being good and 5, being epic!

Best Worst Movie - 5 out of 5

Do you like really bad movies like I do? Ever see the movie Troll 2? If you answered yes to the first question but no to the second, see Troll 2--you won't regret it. If you answered yes to both questions, see Best Worst Movie. This movie is a documentary that focuses on the cult sensation the terrible film Troll 2 became.

This doc was filmed by none other than the star of "the worst film of all time;" Michael Stephenson. In the film, he reunites the cast and crew and goes to viewing parties all over the country, mingling with fans of this terrible horror film that has become a beloved icon by literally millions of people. The documentary mainly focuses on George Hardy, a dentist who took his first acting job on Troll 2 and played Stephenson's father. Honestly, Hardy alone is enough reason to watch the movie because he is such a charismatic and loveable guy that, by the time the movie was done, I wanted to hang out with him.

The documentary does a great job at showcasing the level of devotion fans have for this piece of work--everything from making costumes of the trolls in the movie to a man getting a tattoo of the original box art on the VHS release. We also get to see the director's impressions of the movie he made that went on to earn the title of "worst film ever made" by IMDb.com. His outlook of his work becomes an item of tension as fans and crew share their stories and thoughts on the film, definitely one of the highlights of the movie.

Seriously, if you love Troll 2, bad movies or really fun documentaries, this movie is the movie to check out.
