It's Garry Shandling's Show Season 2 - 5 out of 5
The laughs continue with this one of the kind show that the history and future of television will has and will never see again. The laughs are just as strong as season 1 as Garry Shandling and his cohorts poke fun at sitcom cliches like getting trapped in a refrigerator or falling down a well. And the fourth wall continues to be smashed to pieces as Garry openly acknowledges the studio audience, makes fun of the sets, flubs lines and talks directly to the camera and those watching. This season also has some fantastic special guests like Tom Petty, Gilda Radner (Rest in peace) and Jeff Goldblum. Without a doubt, this show is non-stop hilarity and one of the most original programs to ever grace television. Sure some of the one liners are dated but most of the jokes (especially the ones that come from the breaking of the fourth wall) remain timeless. If you've never seen this show--either you weren't born when it came out or you didn't have Showtime when it debuted--I highly recommend it to you if you love unique, one-of-the-kind comedy that you don't get on the cliche, tiresome sitcoms that grace most networks.
